Mud baths of Lo Pagán

Just a 25-minute drive from Santa Rosalía , you'll find the famous Lo Pagán mud baths, located in the Las Salinas y Arenales de San Pedro del Pinatar nature reserve. These open-air mud baths have been known for centuries for their healing properties, thanks to their high mineral content of sulfur, sodium, and magnesium.
Visitors here cover themselves with warm, dark mud from the lagoon, let it dry in the sun, and then rinse off in the salty water of the Mar Menor. The mud is said to help with skin problems, rheumatism, and joint pain – and generally leaves skin soft and well-groomed.
Besides the baths, you can also enjoy walking or cycling along the paths along the salt lakes, where you can often spot flamingos and other aquatic birds.
📍 Free admission and open year-round. Don't forget to bring your old swimwear and your own bucket and spade!
